Before bed, after cleaning any eye makeup off with oil-free makeup remover, paint a thin line of Latisse® along the lash line using the enclosed brushes. If you forget a treatment, wait until the following night to get back on track. This is a once-nightly application until desired results are achieved, generally in 16 weeks. After that, results can be maintained by applying the treatment 3-4 times a week, or every other night. How does it work? Latisse® is believed to affect the growth phase of the eyelash hair cycle in two ways: first, it increases the length of this phase; and second, it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase. This is why you continue to apply the product even after desired results are achieved - when you stop using it, your lashes will gradually return to their natural length, usually over the course of one growth cycle. How long does it take to work? Users generally notice a difference in about eight weeks, with full results in about sixteen weeks. Are there any side effects to Latisse®? The most commonly reported side effects have been some itchy eyes and redness. Some users found these side effects went away once they became accustomed to the product. Also, some people who reported side effects learned they were applying it improperly, and found relief once they began applying it correctly. Your provider will show you the correct way to use it. How do I get Latisse®? Latisse® should be obtained ONLY through a licensed medical professional, such as Medical Aesthetics and Wellness of CT, LLC. We will need to be notified of allergies and your medical history (eye surgeries, eye pressure issues, etc) to properly assess if you're a good candidate for Latisse®. |
